ArmorPark’s exclusive program with James River Insurance Company is uniquely designed to meet the needs of all valet and self-parking companies, large or small. The program itself has over 40 years of insurance background specific to the parking industry and is well-known throughout the nation. We are a member of the National Parking Association.

Sera Chalayan-Cessna, ArmorPark Underwriting Manager

After graduating from university in 2010, Sera began her career as a banker, then worked at RT Specialty, and moved to an admitted carrier as team lead. She served as president of the Emerging Insurance Professionals and as a board member for the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation. After living and working in the Czech Republic to earn her MBA, Sera resumed her insurance career as an AVP at Gallagher in Los Angeles, where her sales focus was on non-profits and parking operators. Sera joined U.S. Risk in 2019 and worked her way up to underwriting management for the ArmorPark program, where she now enjoys being an expert in her niche field. In her spare time, she speaks to young people about considering careers in insurance.

Nick Ellingson, ArmorPark Underwriter

Nick graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a degree in Finance and began his career in the mortgage industry. He started at U.S. Risk in 2019, working for the Central Support Services team. Nick transitioned to the HealthcarePros program to begin his underwriting career. In 2021, ArmorPark was lucky enough to bring him on as an underwriter, where he now mentors a team of support staff.
